Privacy policy
This policy explains what information artificial.jewelry collects on artificial.jewelry, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what is needed to sell and deliver products to you.
What we collect
- Order details: name, delivery address, phone number, email and the items you buy.
- Account details: your login email and password (stored as a one-way hash), saved addresses and order history.
- Payment: handled entirely by Razorpay. We receive only a payment reference and status, never your card or UPI credentials.
- Usage: pages viewed, device and browser type, and cookies needed to keep your cart and preferences.
How we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including sending order and dispatch updates by email and SMS
- To issue GST invoices and meet legal and accounting obligations
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
- To send offers and news only if you have subscribed; every email has an unsubscribe link
Who we share it with
Only the partners needed to complete your order: our payment gateway (Razorpay), courier companies (name, address and phone for delivery), and email/SMS providers. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep your cart and sign-in, and a preference cookie to remember your choices. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the cart may not work without them.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires (currently 8 years). Account data is kept until you delete your account. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can view and update your details under My account. Email us to request a copy of your data or to delete your account; we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, payment data never touches our servers, and access to order data is limited to staff who need it.
